How could this POSSIBLY be subtext... so what if Xena is cradling Gabrielle lovingly while shoving her face into her breast...

Has anyone noticed how the intro of "This is not subtext..." is beginning to sound like a Marks and Spencers advert (possibly only speaking to UK
folks here....)

 I'm going to be real cheap as well and repost my contributions to the TX thread:
This isn't subtext. Gabrielle's not jealous. She's just upset because she had planned to score with Antony herself. 
This isn't subtext. Escaping the wrath of the Gods together and coming to this place together to raise the child together doesn't mean that they are together. 
This isn't subtext. Because real couple never argue. 
This isn't subtext. And Xena has not the slightest idea why she's so afraid of telling Gabrielle about the pregnancy. 
This isn't subtext. Xena is horrified by the thought of having to cook her own meals again.
