Is it a coincidence that they almost look alike in that pic? Back to topic. I think that Xena and Gabby were lovers in season 6. Too much happened in the other seasons to just think about it. The rift between Gabby and Xena in season 3, the whole pregnancy of Xena and the escape from the wrath of the gods in season 5. And in season 4 Gabby was too vulnerable, she still felt guilty for Hopes dead. And I don't think that Xena would take advantage of her in that state. IMO it was clearly in season 6, that they did it. Proud member of the PLA Thanks to Sara for the great banner and Nutty for the lovely keeper.
