Villager Posts: 24 (03/30/08 9:33 PM) More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : lucy, auckland, house, experiences, bethels beach So I was recently in Auckland and as we were driving back from the mall to my girlfriend's parents place stuck behind a very slow-moving truck and I was looking around at all the houses, thinking how beautiful they were. We are looking at buying a house there and so I was busy checking out all the real estate. There was this one house that just stood out and I said to my girlfriend, "Wow, look at that house, it is so beautiful." It had the most gorgeous fences and driveway leading up to this slate-walled amazing house. She slowed down almost to a stop and looked. She casually replied, "Yeah, that's Lucy Lawless's old house." I was shocked to hear her say that. One of her good friends was her security detail and another her kids nanny. My girlfriend grew up in West Auckland near Mt Albert where Lucy grew up and she even went to Marist the same school that Lucy went to and is not phased at all by the fact. The house was just stunning and I thought I should share my experience with people who think it as cool as me... my girlfriend just doesn't understand! I know a lot of fans have been to Auckland and to the different places where the show was filmed. My favourite place before this experience was Bethels Beach but now I am amazed at how and why things happen. Just had to share! Thanks. The warrior bard The way of friendship

There are so many awesome houses down there. I heard that her parents still live in their old house or that they still own it. Does anyone know anything about that? Hummer - do you live in Auckland? What rsine said. I got the creeps reading this thread last night. There's something kind of disturbing about total strangers talking excitedly about where an actress they don't know personally lives/used to live. And if saying that puts me on the the bad guy list-oh well.
