I just wanted to drop by and let you all know that I am still around, I've just been extra busy lately and I'm sorry I've neglected the board.
These past 3 months have flown by for me. I finally got a "grown up" job in the school system where I interpret for one deaf student. I'm at a
middle school about 30 minutes from where I live so I get up about 5am and I am home a little before 4pm and by that time I am ready to crash. It's been a
great experience for me and has me thinking about going back to school to become a teacher...definitely Elementary though. It is unbelievable how some of
these 8th graders act. The school is on Spring Break this week and next week is my last week (I'm only subbing). I'm kinda sad but I'll be happy
to be away from a select few children (LOL, none of which are the ones I work with directly). All the teachers are so nice to me and help me out a great deal.
It's funny how much I've re-learned and I love every minute of it. I wish this job didn't have to end because I am dreading going back to Old
Navy but I do miss my friends from there. So there are pros and cons for everything. One thing I am looking forward to is the possibility of getting a new
kitten. In January my cat had to be put to sleep which was extremely hard and just sitting here typing about it brings tears to my eyes. She would have been
20 years old this summer. She was an awesome cat but we couldn't let her suffer any longer. I feel like it's going to be the right time get get a new
kitten cause I'll have more time to dedicate to taking care of her (I want a little girl). So keep your fingers crossed that I find a new baby! Well I
