I've got a feeling I've asked this before, but I can't remember any replies (or find the thread) so I'll ask again.
You know the necklace Ash gives to his girlfriend in Evil Dead. Is it just me or is this a replica of that?

Well, if it's a small magnifying glass, then it's the same as what Ash gave his girlfriend. (There was supposed to be a scene where he used it to focus
the rays of the sun on one of the deadites... or something... but I'm not sure that was ever even shot.) What ep is that from? I doubt Rob got too much
into the props and costuming of the individual episodes, so if the director was an ED alum... or some local Kiwi props person was a fan, then maybe....

It never comes into full focus but the 'handle' seems a little longer than the ED one. Which, by the way, was supposed to catch the sunlight and
slightly burning the book which would have hinted to Ash how to be rid of the deadites.

Didnt the one in Evil Dead spin round? Its been ages since I saw that movie which BTW is awesome!I've searched an searched but can't find sceencaps
either.
