Hey-if I can draw Lucy Lawless multiple times, it's only fair that other folks get the same treatment.
Yup-one of my favorite musicians, David Vector, is the subject once again. Only this time, I wanted to do a concept piece-so there's background elements.
This piece is the most difficult one I've done so far. It was a challenge from start to finish. The colors are pretty darn wild. As I said before, I have
no idea whatsoever how the colors will turn out in a piece. Every new artwork is a surprise to me. This one is no exception. I just go on a journey, and pick
colors, laying them down in different spots to see what happens.
If you haven't stopped by Dave's MySpace site, by the way-what the heck are you waiting for?!
Check the dude out. He's a gifted musican.
The link is on my MySpace page.
As for myself? I'm putting the colored pencils away for now, because I really need to focus on writing. I completed a brand-new novella that I have to send
out soon. I also have to begin work on another short story for submission, and hopefully, somewhere down the line-starting off on a novel.
The creative beast in me demands to be satisfied.
Time for dinner. Later, kids.
