I'm the oldest of three. I have a 17-year-old brother and a 12-year-old sister.

My brother was more or less the classic "big sister's worst nightmare" little brother when we were younger. We fought constantly, and he thrived on tormenting me and my friends (one Thanksgiving, he locked me and my longtime best friend in the basement when we wouldn't let him play with us; a story that's stayed in the family for years). That's not to say I didn't do my fair share of tormenting, but it was usually in retaliation for his tormenting. As he got older, he got tired of tormenting me for the most part, and we started getting along much better. I wouldn't say we became best friends, but we respected each other and stayed out of each other's hair. We don't talk much nowadays - I'm in college, and when I'm home, he's usually in his room playing computer games - but when we do, I enjoy our conversations.

My relationship with my sister is different in a lot of ways because we're both girls and have a much bigger age gap between us (7.5 years). She enjoys annoying me (and my brother), but I think she also looks up to me. I play more of a mentor/protector role for her than I do for my brother. She also talks to me a lot more when I'm home and always keeps me filled in on what's happening in her life, so I guess you could say I'm closer to her. And she's absolutely adorable. She's got a bunch of seventh grade boys trying to woo her, and at this rate, she'll probably have her first kiss before I do.
