i've never been Summoned before but then again I just registered to vote not even half a yaer ago. I actually atleast want to see how it goes once. then i can complain about it lol

Ah, they finally nabbed you. The two times I've been summoned, I postponed it to the day before Thanksgiving figuring that few lawyers and judges want to
start a trial that day. So far its worked like a charm resulting in two dismissals before 10:00am thus kicking of my Thanksgiving weekend all the earlier
without ever making it inside a court room.

i had this done for me before, but was never called for jury duty. had to show up a couple of times, but think i wasn't picked because my hair was long at
the time.

lucky. Dont ever have to do jury duty. Once you have done a semester of law at uni you are exempt. Yay!!!!!

well thats how it is here. Its because its supposed to be a jury of your peers and anyone with extra knowledge of the law isnt considered as part of that group
