So here it is. Chevis and I were scheduled to get married on February 2nd. I planned a big ceremony for us while he was away. Suddenly, two weeks before the wedding he freaks out and gets a mad case of cold feet causing me to have to abruptly call off the wedding. I was devastated!
A few days later after he realized how big of a bonehead he was, I get a call from him. He asked me could he fly down to Texas to spend time with me. I agree. It was hard, but we were working things out slowly but nicely. We then postponed the wedding until february of next year. After his month was up here in Texas he flew back to Virginia and I followed about a week later to spend a month with him. Finally after eight years in a relationship and realizing we don't ever want to be apart again we drove to this magistrates house.....
After we got home we celebrated!
And we plan to live happily ever after as Sheena and Chevis Boyd
