Plot (as outlined by LyricSplat):
Okay, so, let's say we've got a pre-Velascan Classic Callisto. Her motivations are: a) to become a goddess, b) to destroy Xena, and c) to cause gleeful mayhem and murder in pursuit of a) and b). To throw a random plot-bunny out and get the ball rolling, maybe Callisto escapes from that deep-dark rat-infested Labyrinth Herc trapped her in, and begins raising a new army to destroy not just Xena's love and light, but Love itself: Aphrodite. Maybe Aphrodite's the one who helps her out of the Labyrinth in the first place? and Callisto schemes some devious plot to rob Aph of her godly powers? So, Callisto's building a new army - Ares would probably be interested. He might help her, thinking that he could provoke Xena into returning to her old ways, and Callisto obviously wouldn't tell him she planned to destroy his sister. Meanwhile Xena and Gab are frolicking in waterfalls somewhe-- uhhh, I mean, doing heroic stuff! with swords, and cheesy effects! nyahaha. Joxer would be close-by, I imagine. Ares would undoubtedly have his own little games going on. Maybe Aph zaps someone with a love spell at a random comic-relief-needed moment. Things would go from there...
