Since the show was called Xena: Warrior Princess, I think it would have just been the first installment in the cycle of Xena's deaths and resurrections.

Also depends if Gabrielle figured out the ultimate villain in the episode and managed to unite the Amazons and Centaurs, otherwise she probably would have died shortly after Xena in the war.

It's an interesting scenerio. I think Gabby would have stayed with the Amazons to learn how to fight. However, I'm sure after a time she would have returned home and married Perdicus falling madly in love...
