			<description><![CDATA[ Well, I'm sure that people drift away from TV shows all the time for all sorts of reasons.  Maybe part of it is just that the appeal wears off with the novelty.  Also, people discover other shows.  All sorts of things happen.<br><br>At the same time, I don't think ratings drops are entirely unrelated to the show's content.<br><br>For instance, there was a ratings drop after the Rift and it always makes me wonder if part of it was because some viewers just found the Rift/post-Rift X:WP too... ]]></description>

An actress breaking her pelvis while practicing to ride on horseback onto Jay Leno's stage is pretty big and unique news in and of itself.... and the star of an action series suffering a serious enough injury to take her out of action, as it were for a significant enough period that it affects the show is equally big news.
