I am incurably and unabashedly Xena-centric. I can read/watch something that doesn't feature a romance between Ares and Xena as long as they both (Xena in particular) remain the major characters. I'm definitely interested in Ares and his character development arc, though that development obviously has a lot to do with his feelings for Xena. But I do think there's more to Ares than his love for the Warrior Princess.
