The reason I say this is because in greek myth, brother-sister marriages (Zeus and Hera) are quite common and not viewed in a negative light. However, parent-child sexual relationships (the story of Oedipus) are something that the greeks viewed negatively. I think this is a line even Ares would not have crossed.
