Seriously, how do you decide between two or more different paths/actions/whatevers?

With the coming of the new year I've been thinking about decisions and different paths to take, but I can't make up my mind. How do you do it? A list?
Let the dice do it for you? Let a friend/family do it for you?

Tell me please. How do you make a decision?

What's the goal with a decision? What does a decision actually consist of?

A little help in pondering this would be very much...

we'll sometimes reach a decision playing a quick game of paper, rock, scissors. This usually happens when there's a decision that we're both
equally ambivalent or adamant about... can be something big or insignificant in scope. It is understood that the results are definitive so there is no pouting

About life decisions, what I would suggest is sitting down, looking at the various pros and cons of each possibility and assessing how they match with your
personal talents, wishes, goals and desires, and picking the one that seems to fit best. But I do think that, when doing this, it's important to be
