Joxer coming in all "Rise and Shine!" and Xena chaking him right in the chest and rolling over to go back to sleep.

The sheer comedic talents of the cast. This episode is full of one-liners and scenes that should be replayed repeatedly. Love the part where Joxer is trying to lead the way and walks up the stairway to nowhere and almost steps off. Just makes me laugh.

Okay, here's one...

Joxer fainting while Xena was describing his death from the day before to Gabrielle...

Xena: "...the sword plunged into his heart...his chest covered with blood...his eyes staring blankly up at the sky..."

Joxer: covers his mouth and falls backwards.

Then as soon as Xena mentioned that Gabrielle cried over him, he stands up with renewed interest!

This is my favorite episode. I was giggling like a fool just reading all the posts. It makes me want to watch the episode again. This one I've seen about 12 times...and still am not tired of it!!

Xena telling Gabrielle that Joxer is in love with her in order to get them both out of her way -- and Gabrielle's "wow, she's really flipped" reaction. (Yeah, it was a bit mean to Jox, but still.... hilarious!)

Now, a reason that hasn't already been said....the calculations have already been mentioned, but love the exact moment when she has her thumb up to measure and is squinting. Makes me giggle.

Xena sitting in the stable, running frantically through all of her actions and the reactions to date to find the key to the problem, while Gab and Joxer stare silently at her with two of the deadest pans imaginable.

The just frightening neck strength, when Xena is upside down, essentially in yoga fish pose, going through her story and she's swaying back and forth with all her weight on the top of her head. That kills me every time. That and the look when she flips over and has a finger in her mouth mumbling..."I'm missing something...something small..."

(But my favorites already mentioned are definitely the rooster...
