Just getting out from under my lurker rock here (finally signed up for the forum and everything!) to put in my two cents on the conqueror fanfic.

I agree with everything vampirecookies has said about the Price of Silence. It's pretty much spoiled me for a lot of other fics with the sheer quality of the writing and characterization. Xena and Gabrielle were so three dimensional. I'm totally crazy in love with this fic.
