I chose the gift because of the more emotional aspect. The dramatic ending of that episode and all the thoughts of 'ohmygosh, the main character of the show is dead..whats going to happen now? And how will they bring Buffy back? brought more appeal to wanting to watch the next season, IMO. I somewhat loved the finale of the sixth season but it felt more like 'things are going to be okay' and it reassured me that the characters would 'move on' in some way. (even though I...

The Gift was a perfect finale and got my vote. But Graduation Day and Becoming were excellent also.
