			<description><![CDATA[ For me, as a gay person, it&#39;s definitely gay code. And she daring to deliver a coded message to Xena, who she&#39;s testing the waters with.

I say things like this all the time to people who I think might be gay (but I&#39;m not precisely sure). And then they&#39;ll answer in one of several ways -

1.) completely oblivious to the code and I&#39;ll conclude they are not gay.
<br>
2.) they are gay or very, very gay savvy and their answer will be similarly coded and... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I picked 1. I can see being different all around being generated out of sexuality, *I get that personally*, but it&#39;s something that I think she grew to
understand over time with Xena. Who knows? Maybe she had a firm clue even in SOTP. Who can say? I still say she just wanted to get away. I was like that too.

I think she wanted to escape from that dull stupid village where she couldn&#39;t be herself... Not realizing her &#39;escape&#39; it steamed from her
sexuality!

Sometimes gay ppl feel like they are different from what &#39;society&#39; establishes and it was clearly enough her parents really disapprove of her being

told about in their stories.  So, she could live them as well.  I took alot of adventures when I was younger for some of the very same reasoning.  That&#39;s

The thought of her meaning her sexuality has never crossed my mind before. Neither does the words to any greater lengths send me thinking about what she
<em>could</em> have meant now.

The scene (imho) speaks of her wanting to find herself and all her want&#39;s and need&#39;s in life, which does include but is not limited to her sexuality. I
don&#39;t think she had a clue at that specific point, but it might have been a sort of wakeup call, for sure.

Xena and what they meant. I think that is true of both Xena and Gabby.
