the Vampire Slayer, taking place this weekend at Henderson State University in Arkansas.

			<description><![CDATA[ Oh, that&#39;s a good idea: getting together to discuss the papers when we&#39;re done somehow online. And yeah, I agree with you, LK; I think that keeping the
fan stuff and the academic stuff in separate venues is a better idea. I just meant, nobody put him/herself down, &#39;cause you (we) are all capable of writing
Xena-related papers--these threads demonstrate it.

Seriously, there&#39;s no reason we couldn&#39;t write an academic journal of our own. When I first got into <em>Buffy</em>, my friend Jenna would send emails
for calls for papers on <em>Buffy</em> subjects. And I was always kind of intimidated (plus, I didn&#39;t have the time), so I never tried to write one. But
we&#39;ve called up most of the major philosophical subjects on this board in the past few weeks.... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I ate the Buffy series as it was chocolate. I was around 12-13 when they broadcasted the show here, and I loved it. I think its perfect for preteens. But as a
teenager I found it very very borring, heavy and did I mention borring? Xena is much more fun, but only because the crew doens&#39;t take itself to seriously.
And thats probebly also the reason why there are no Xena studys. ]]></description>
