I voted for Palaemon, but I did like both characters (and performances) a lot, though Jeremy's performance as Pompey is slightly marred for me by his hamminess in Endgame. Palaemon on the other hand blipped all over the place. He was interesting, but what I think made the most difference is that I love Blind Faith. I loved Pompey, he had an interesting personality toward Xena that was matched by his syrupy animosity toward Caesar. I didn't quite know what to make of him in WIR, it's too bad it waned in Good Day and Endgame. I thought he served his purpose enough as there really wasn't much you could do with him if he wasn't attracted to Xena but Caesar was always nearby too. I actually liked Palaemon better, and I would have liked it if they brought the character back, so he would no longer be a One Episode Wonder.
