I'm looking at it alongside a pic of Danielle now. Here's my guess...

There isn't enough range in the lights and darks around her face, and you need some highlights. Tiny details like this can be a real pain in the butt-believe me, I know. And yet, if those tiny details aren't spot on, it can make or break a piece.

I really think you can salvage this one. The colors are AWESOME. KICK-ASS. image And you have much more mid-range colors, so the transition from light to dark isn't as harsh as in past pieces. That, in particular, makes this piece much stronger than some of your other work-in my opinion. image
