I do recall a number of past interviews in which Lucy has said that it's great the show could be all things to all people -- straight women could identify with the friendship, gay women with the romance. In several recent interviews she does seem to acknowledge the lesbian fans only (and btw, isn't "large women in comfortable shoes" a...

Thanks for writing all that up for us.

Continues not to be a surprise, but I can't help but be deflated that the Xena actors in particular don't remember much about the show with accuracy. Directors and writers seem to retain more episode details, etc..., naturally.

Also saddened to see Lucy articulate to the crowd that she's assuming they don't want to hear anecdotes about working with Kevin on scenes about X/A. I'm sure she remembers being asked Ares...

That is what I had written down in my notes, LadyKate-that she said, "Now that he's gone." But as I said earlier, my notes are ever suspect.

A bit of "filling in":

Luce was asked if she ever thought about performing Xena in a live action venue. (I'm guessing this means in a play, eh?)

Actually this question came from one of the five or six "Xenas" -- an Austrian woman who does a live action show (stunts with horses, swordplay, etc.) as "Xena," and who asked Lucy if she would consider appearing in such a show.

I think someone asked her where she wanted to go next or maybe someone just suddenly yelled out that they wanted her to come back to Europe again. She replied, "Paris. Amsterdam. Berlin." And I appreciate the fill-ins. I THOUGHT it was Lucy telling Renee to shut up (or wanting to tell her to) but I wasn't sure. And yeah, it doesn't surprise me at all that we did applaud ourselves. We are ever an exuberant fandom-even about us. Laugh! And I do have some stuff on Tilly-it's in the last two parts of my Lucy at the con report that I'm about to post.

Wonderful report KT! And yes, like Unwise said it was lucy telling Ren to shut up ("oh shut up kid" ).

We all basked in the glow of Lucy bragging on us. I don't remember, but I wouldn't be surprised if we applauded ourselves like mad-we usually do applaud ourselves at the slightest whiff of praise from one of the stars.
