So, we've been having a really interesting discussion in this thread, Rewriting the 25 year jump, about alternatives to the 25-year sleep as a way to handle the problem of the heroines of an action show
having a baby in tow.

Here's a few scenarios we came up with:

 * After Amphipolis Under Siege, Athena -- guided by a typically cryptic prophecy from the Fates -- changes her strategy and, instead of trying to
kill Eve, kidnaps her and takes her to a "bubble...

I personally see the 25 year jump as such lame, lame, lame, lame, lame, lazy writing. I don't care if it solved that problem for them, I don't care if
it posed the possibilities of pitting mother against daughter, I don't care if it opened the door for more characters. I always feel embarrassed every time
I mention it to someone. It's like a Power Rangers/Cartoonish type of plot point to me, definitely not fitting for a show that most of the time had stellar

Unfortunately no. I think few shows on TV would do something like that, it's more the type of thing that happens in books, for some reason. It's as if
that somehow makes her death more harsh and tragic than for her to leave behind a grieving Gabrielle and an adult Eve. Still I would have loved to see it.
