I like Marcus. I think he's sweet. I gave him a 7 because I like all the episodes he's in, but he doesn't really stand out as much as some of the other characters.

Xena liked him so I liked him. I really enjoy his and Xena's relationship.
Over all likeable guy. Gave him a 9.

LOL. I guess it was sort of a "Heat of the Moment" thing. Or maybe it was because they knew it was the only time they would ever be able to do it again.

I gave him a 3. He was very lackluster in both of his appearances, IMO, but he's several steps above Hercules so I give him points for that.

I agree that Marcus with EvilXena of The Debts/Sin Trades/Past Imperfect vintage is hard to imagine -- she's eat the poor guy for breakfast, and I don't mean that in a good way -- but I think Xena had mellowed out considerably by the time she was reformed. I like to pretend Mortal Beloved never happened, because it sucked (imho). However I did for some strange reason like Marcus. He had potential to develop into a really interesting character if he had been given more time. At the same time I'm glad he didn't get more screentime.

He is a strange character which in many ways is kinda useless and was involved in one really bad episode and a mediocre one, yet I liked him. I'm gonna go with my emotional side and give him an 8...

I thought Marcus was a likable enough character well portrayed by Bobby Hosea. But as LadyKate said, he was a bit too nice and bland for Xena. I have a hard time believing that EX would have been involved with him romantically as implied in The Path Not Taken unless he was quite a bit different and more hardened in those days before his own aborted attempt at leaving the life. I liked Marcus in The Path Not Taken, actually. He had a bit of an edge there, and I liked the fact that you really didn't know which way he would go -- would he side with Xena or betray her? I think my favorite scene with Marcus is actually the one where they first meet -- where you think it's going to be a confrontation and then it turns out they're just teasing.

Weeeeeee, finally, Xena's better half......Forget that old bag Gabrielle. Lol. I gave Marcus a 9 only because he irritated me the tinest bit in The Path Not Taken. They should have prought him back for more than the 2 episodes he was in.

Marcus gets a 9 from me - besides being a likeable character, he also showed us a romantically-in-love Xena, which I enjoyed a lot.
