He just had great chemistry with Lucy. And Renee, though we didn't get to see as much of that.
And boy, it would have been kinda cool to see more of his going after Gabrielle in S5. They needed some Lucy light eps, why not go that route rather than stupid un-funny comedy crap?

Oh, I would've loved more eps of that. I thought TQIM was so funny. More of that would've been great..

I would like to see more of Aphrodite, I just love her airhead-y, bubbly personality. She cracks me up.

I actually didn't have any problem with the way Athena acted during the Twilight. She doesn't regard mortal lives as particularly valuable (even Ilainus is more like a favorite pet than anything else), and unlike Ares she has no motive to take the risk of letting Eve live.

However, I definitely think that it would have been good if she had appeared on the show in the earlier seasons, before being Xena's adversary, and if she and Xena had more of a history (a positive...

Ares - Kevin Smith brought so much to the role and would have loved to be able to see more. Of the little I've watched of Herc, don't like what they did with Ares there. too....cheesy villain rather than the complex entity he was on Xena. Plus, he just had great chemistry with Lucy. And Renee, though we didn't get to see as much of that.

Ares and Aphrodite!
I understand why, but I always kind of wondered about Ares and FIN.
He showed up twice before when she was about to kill herself and stopped her. And as a god im guessing he would know where she is and what shes up to most of the time. But yeah, I know it wouldnt have been right in the story and everything.
Shame his last ep was Soul Posession. Grr lol

I'm with Bianka Bee!

I love and admire the Athena you come to know through the mythology. Don't care much at all for her the way she was portrayed on the show.

But, had we seen her prior to her life being threatened, to which her reaction was in some ways understandable, I might have been able to buy it more. If she had been shown as a wise and reasonable goddess, we would have had a bigger understanding for her plan and her reasoning. It would have been suggested...

I defintely wouldn't have wanted her as a villian per say, not like she was in season 5. I could see what happened to her in season 5 because of the fear she had for her own life, but it would have been great to see her as a noble goddess who was a stark contrast to Ares when...

Well... maybe not every episode. Somewhere between half and two-thirds would have been fine with me.

Do we really have to stick to one? No? Good Ares. First and foremost. Then Dite and Athena. And yes, I agree with what have been said about Artemis : so much potential with all the amazon storylines and yet they never explored all the possibilities...too bad.
