We all know that the whole point of The Deliverer's multiple plots was to distract us away from Gabrielle's
seemingly innocent situation, but do you think that using a figure like Boadicea strictly as a plot device did her justice? What potential do you think
Boadicea had as a recurring character, or at least for one more episode?

Consider that Boadicea is one of the few figures from Xena's evil past who did not get beyond one episode. But unlike characters like Thalassa and...

like maybe Xena needs her help with something & she betrays Xena just like Xena betrayed her all those years ago, but something tells me Boadicea is too
straightlaced for that.

I think there was a lot of potential with the character, and in a way it's surprising that they didn't use her again, considering that she was one of
the few historical warriors that we know about. I think it's fine that they didn't show what happened at the end of The Deliverer, but it would have
been nice to see her again, and as LK said, maybe they should have had her lose to Caesar and then be resentful of Xena again.

It's my understanding that Boadicea won some battles before losing to Caesar big time.

I didn't like how they dropped the story either, but to be honest, it wasn't interesting to me. The only part of the show that I found half interesting
was Gabrielle's bit in the Dahak temple. I wasn't crazy about the actress they chose for Boadicea. She was a convincing warrior but wasn't very
attractive.

There was a brief mention in Maternal Instincts (by Ephiny) that Boadicea defeated Caesar. Come to think of it, it's pretty amazing that people
who were watching the show in the first run had to wait for weeks to find out what happened!

I agree that Boadicea was very underused and should have made a comeback. Even in the brief time she had onscreen, she managed to create a very powerful and
impressive character. She was very convincing as a warrior queen, including in...

I don't think in the end she did resolve her problems with Xena. She was still angry and hurt about Xena's betrayal and couldn't forgive her, but
she realized that she could acknowledge Xena's help in the present. It wasn't complete, but it's a start. That's why I feel one more ep would
have been nice, for her to finally forgive Xena.

Very few people have openly forgiven Xena for hurting them in her past, mostly because they ended up dead. Boadicea was a...

I would *definitely* have liked to see more of Boadicea. Her status as a real historical character, coupled with her backstory having to do with Evil!Xena,
hinted at a potential real depth of character that was waiting to be explored. It's a shame she didn't get more than a one-episode treatment (and even
in that ep, she ended up being a sideshow to the Main Attraction of Dahak.)

would have thought that there would have at least been a mention of what happened to Bodicea in her fight against Caesar after The Deliverer. Like a mention in
Gabrielle's Hope. Bodicea deserved that, and I don't like that Xena left her in battle, without an explination.
