Yeah, if you check the support forum they advise you that the hacker could possibly spread to other parts of your site if it was able to find your Coppermine account.

I've gotten tons of spam in the comments section.

since i've done a thorough cleaning of my system, i'm not experiencing as much spam as i was over the weekend. I think withen in an eight hour period, I received 100 spam emails. Now, it's back down to it's usual.

Btw, for those of you who can't afford (or don't like) Norton, the NOD32 anti-virus program that I use is one of the most-recommended among the techies that I know. Norton has a tendency (especially with the more recent versions) to bog your system down and significantly affect performance. I haven't had any effects like that with the NOD32, and frankly, I trust them more...

I'm very happy that the affected website is OK now, and that no one suffered any serious damage.

That said, somehow each time when I read "Warning! Trojan infection on warriorprincess." I just start laughing uncontrollably like Beavis and Butthead.

yeah and if you're infected, you have to do something different. i just dumped everything and started over.

Last Friday, April 18th, some d--khead hacked into my website and left an embedded Trojan virus on every .html and .php file in the entire site.

Unfortunately, I didn't discover this until Sunday the 20th. So...to all of you who visited www.warriorprincess.com from the 18th - 20th: RUN YOUR ANTIVIRUS SCANS. You might have been infected with something. (BIG sad face)

I've spent the last 24 hours...
