Interesting!

I loved Paris as Athena as well but the woman who was Athena in that Hercules episode I thought was nice, too. The whole "bookworm" persona was funny.

OK, you've convinced me. And I totally agree, xwp-Antigone much better than htlj-Antigone.

As for Odin - well, maybe they just hadn't shown us Frigga. And if we talk about Xena-Valkyrie, so no doubt that conjugal infidelity was an "everyday occurrence" for supreme gods (look at Zeus)

Hmm.... I think it's four if you count Anthony Quinn in the first Hercules movie. Or maybe three. Who can keep count? So, yeah. We're following in the fine traditions of the show on the Shipper Seasons.

As for Antigone and Creon being played by different actors -- let's not forget that Brutus was played by 3 different actors just on X:WP!

Forget Odin, as I recall it, ATHENA was a completely different character on HTLJ too -- long before Paris Jefferson's Athena was around on XWP. I hated the HLTJ incarnation, so was more than happy when they disregarded that.

Considering that Odin on H:TLJ was a completely different character than on X:WP (married, among other things! ), I think we have a clean conscience.

Basically, we disregarded the Antigone stroyline of Hercules to create our own that was more "true" to the actual Antigone story in myth. It is a YAXI, true, but I think we can eaisly dismiss it because it was on Hercules and we really wanted to tell the Antigone storyline. That's the best I can come up with.

Oh, and "Michael Kostas" isn't a real person. I just made up a name for the...
