Ares deserved a good win. Almost every single villain that Hercules fights he is able to beat in single combat; it gets boring. Just once it would have been great to see Ares wipe the floor with Herc and have Hercules flee for his life. And no one deserved to beat up Hercules more than Ares.

I really dont feel like Ares was given a fair chance in any fight and i dont really rate the battles with Herc that well. I think he was used more of a menace than a match for Herc to prove just how strong Herc was.
