Released in October so I guess I have to allow to understand them wanting a horror flick, haunted house episode. I gave the first Evil Dead movie a try but it was definitely not for me (didn't finish it) and so its no surprise this isn't episode isn't high on my list. There were some things I liked, others I didn't so it's a pretty mixed bag tilted more towards the negative.

Mephistopheles decides to haunt Amphipolis because . . .? And why do it when Xena and Gabrielle aren't around? My guess is that Xena wasn't reliving what actually happened;The acting is marginally better. Except for the ending, Darien Takle's acting was awful. Her "XEEEEEENNNNNNNAAAAA" as she's about to be burned alive definitely deserves a place on my list of X:WP's Top 10 Unintentionally Funny Moments. My favourite scene is the Eve/Livia one, that reminded me Dreamworker.
My least favourite scene, the one I cannot watch and I have to fast forward it everytime is warms eating Gabrielle's hands. That is disgusting.
