Very touch choice. I went with season 3 over season 5 though. Not sure why, I probably would have been happy to "vote" for either.

I'd have to say season 2, followed by 7 and 6. Two, mainly because Angelus cracks me up and it had the introduction of Spike and Drusilla . 7 and 6 because of the Spuffiness

Good point, I've always thought that all season finals were done that they could be the series final. Every final wraps up the show nicely. I guess the only exception is Grave.

Becoming and The Gift could of both worked well as series finals. But The Gift would of been better. But I'm happy we got 7 seasons, that was good.

If season 5 had been the last season, Tara probaly would of died in Tough Love, and Dark Willow would of emerged, I think they originally...

I've read before that all the Buffy season enders could serve as series' enders, just in case they got cancelled (with the possible exception of s2). However, since he was not doing well in negotiations with WB, The Gift was definitely made to act as the series' end if they hadn't gotten picked up by UPN for the last two seasons. That finale, even more than Chosen, had me totally twisted up for the whole hour, because I was sure at various points that Anya, Xander, Giles,...

For me, it's definately season 5. I loved the character developments, I loved the villain and I loved the ending (part of me wishes the whole show would have ended there, not because I don't want to see more, but because I thought it was almost perfect).

For me season 5, though followed closely by seasons 6 and 7. I felt like they were one big story being told over three seasons.

For me personally season 5. I love all seasons but that one is just the best. And it has my favourite villain in it. And excellent episodes so definatly that one.

Season 5. It has some of the greatest episodes. (However, season 4 comes in at a close second).
Buffy now has to deal with life and on top of that, save the world on a daily basis.

Season 3!!! Always and forever. That season is simply perfection. It has everything. The classic highschool years, Faith, Angel, the introduction of Anya, Cordy, etc. I could go on forever about my love for season 3. Plus it has some of my all time favorite eps: Earshot, Enemies, The Prom and the awesome finale Graduation Day.
