It's kind of like two mini-seasons (of 11 episodes each) and when the BSG TPTB are "in form" then they get more from one episode than most series get from 3 or 4.

I'm certainly hoping that with a clear plan and "end point" in mind, then all 22 episodes will be excellent and will provide a satisfying conclusion to the series. Yeah, it's a shame there's only one season left, Bama...but I was expecting it too. One of the things I've really admired about the BSG staff (since I've been following the official podcasts + stuff like that too) is that they're telling a story with a beginning, middle, and end, and this story is reaching its end. At the same time it make sense for it to be ending like Ryan said it would get really tedious if they were getting closer to earth but never found it.

I trust the writers of this show and I know they'll come up with a satisfying conclusion. Plus we might get Lucy back for it one last time, big bonus!.
