Marriage

I don't know if that has been discussed before.. probably has, heh, but.. what event, if any, made you think 'ok wow, they're as good as married now' ?

For me it was in The Abyss when Gabrielle tells Xena she want's to be burried in Amphipolis with her rather than with her own family. That seemed like the ultimate sign of commitment from Gabby in my eyes and sealed it for me there.

Ok a real request I just don't make a lot of people mad and hope it is in the right spot. Ok I am so into Xena and the L Word and I think of Bette and Tina as the future Xena and Gabrielle just my opinion. I was wondering if one of you wonderful video makers could like make a Xena/Gabrielle and Bette/Tina video showing B/T as X/G on the future. I wish I could but don't know how. I know it is a weird request I hope I don't get a lot of bad comments it is just the way my mind sees...

Subtext moments in season 5

OK, season 5 is usually thought of as a season for shippers.

But I've been thinking about it and their are some pretty good subtext moments. Even the quote below the subtext banner above is from season 5. So I've decided to stop thinking of season 5 as a shipper season. I think we should all list some subtext moments from season 5. All subtext moments, from maintext (Which there isn't really a lot of) to just little touches.

This isn't my creation, but I saw this video on YouTube and loved it. I especially love the song that was chosen. It fits so perfectly with the subject. =] It's a cute, light video.

So this is probably random, but I was watching Antony and Cleopatra last night and I noticed at the very end (after Xena's speech, when X&G are looking out at the scenery/sand) Gabrielle gets this look on her face and it looks... I dunno, kinda cheeky to me. It's almost the same look that Xena gives Callisto after she kills Perdicus but with less 'I-KILL-YOU' intensity.
