This has probably been discussed umpteen times, and I'm a bore, but I'd be most grateful if I could be enlightened on just one point.

When Gabrielle, apparently holding Hope, climbs the hill hotly pursued by Xena, was she, in reality, holding a bundle of something or other and had already shoved Hope downstream?
