I was thinking about the kind of guilt I feel about being Anglo; guilt about what happened to the native americans, to the australian aboriginals, to the people in India, etc etc, even guilt over that 5yr old girl who was killed recently at a wedding in Fallujah. Even though I didn't do any of it personally, I feel a kind of shared guilt and shame about it all.
