Also on tap at Anchor Bay is the complete third season of "Xena: Warrior Princess." The new set is a go for February and will feature newly re-mastered transfers of each episode and new Dolby 5.1 audio tracks. Extras for both "Crime Story" and "Xena" remain to be announced.

if there's one thing that gets my subber brain cells going it's that there are moments when Xena seems to display something very much like jealousy when Gabrielle seems to show interest in someone, and vice versa. Did the potrayal of various characters (main and supporting), and the emphasis on different themes on the show, differ depending on who wrote and/or directed the episodes?

For instance, the episodes Rob Tapert personally wrote or directed often deal with Xena's evil past (or her dark side in the present, like PARADISE FOUND).
