How many times can we have a remote human colony come under attack from some sort of malevolent force, the Dr shows up to help and there's huge self-sacrifice from the crew in order to save Earth? 1. Clearly see the influence of Buffy/Angel. Adele is very Lilah, Topher is very Knox, Reed Diamond's character very Hamilton, even the set reminds me of WR&H (and the sleep chambers VERY Alien). Impressive opening scenes, funny yet moving. Love Angel choosing the wrong car and very suprising that he doesn't save the girl, at least not the guest star (they use the same time difference trick as they did in Helpless to convince you he will). I just discovered them a few weeks ago and they're already one of my favorite bands.
